I can’t believe my baby girl is already 5 years old! I just adore this spunky, sassy little cutie. She loves to be the center of attention and she has the silliest personality that just lights up the room. She is so outgoing and loves making new friends, and there’s no doubt she knows she’s cute! I am so lucky to be her mom and couldn’t imagine life without my little Mya Mouse!

This was one of those sessions that I just LOVED every single photo and pose we did! Little Alexa just might be one of the most beautiful babies I have ever photographed. I can’t get enough of her exotic look and dark brown hair! I am just so jealous of all these babies who have heads full of thick hair! MY DANCING DIVA

Our lives revolve around dance and tumbling at our house. I always dreamed of having little girlie girls who would love to dance, and I got lucky! Both my girls just LOVE everything about dance. It’s so bad that Mya cries is she ever misses a class. She is so silly and her spunky little personality really shines through when she’s bustin a move.

We had dance pictures, so of course I had to take advantage and take Mya out for her own little photo shoot. It was one of those rare moments that it was her idea and she was really in the mood to work it. I just LOVE the pics we got!

A LITTLE BABY BUMP and BOOKING UPDATE

It’s been a VERY crazy, or should I say lazy few weeks around here! I went into labor at 30 weeks and 31 weeks and have been having regular contractions ever since. Thank goodness for modern medicine because they where miraculously able to stop my labor so my little man can have more time to grow. Unfortunately I have started dilating and he is dropped and all ready to come. I am now on VERY strict bed rest and have to stay laying down all day in order to try to keep him in. Let’s just say, my doc said it’s pretty much a miracle that I am still pregnant at this point! I am now almost 33 weeks and still hanging in there and determined to stay pregnant as long as I can.

I am SO thankful to all of my clients for being so understanding during this crazy time. I had high hopes of continuing to shoot through the end of May, but obviously staying pregnant and having a healthy baby has to come first. I will be out of commission until at least the end of July so I can enjoy my new little love. I am currently booking sessions for the end of August through the fall. I am so excited about all the new and returning clients who have already booked for the fall and I can’t wait for what’s to come. It is never to early to book your session at B Couture! I will be primarily focusing on studio newborn, baby, and child sessions so I will be offering limited outdoor sessions this fall.

I hope you enjoy these fun maternity photos that my amazing friend Jen took! I am so impressed with her photog skills. I gave her a quick little studio lesson and these where the results. I’ll be honest, it’s a little scary showing the bump, but since it looks like this will be my last pregnancy, I know I’ll be so glad I have them!

I am loving everything about this entire session! I just love how everything came together and how well all the photos flow. This was such an adorable family and Madsen is easily the cutest baby ever! I have really been pushing myself to come up with fun new baby boy setups for my clients. I know that boys can be tricky, but there is no reason you can’t get a ton of fun looks for the little men too.

Alyvia is 6 months old and cuter than ever! I got to photograph her when she was a newborn, and she is still just as cute as ever. She had an adorable head of hair when she was a newbie too, and I am just amazed by how this and cute her hair still is.

BABY BOY NURSERY SNEAK PEAK…Grey and Mint Arrow Themed Nursery

Over the past few months I have been busily working on the perfect nursery for my little guy! I will admit, decorating for boys is SO hard. I wanted something unique and custom, so I went to the talented women on Etsy to get the perfect customized look.

I am still far from finished, but of course I am going to finish of his nursery with LOTS of pictures, so I need to wait until he is born to show the final reveal. In the meantime, I couldn’t wait to show off some of the amazing products I have found for his nursery.

This custom nursery bedding from {IVIE BABY} is what started it all! When I saw this wood grain pattern I about died!! It is so unique, fresh, and fun. Since the room is pretty small, I wanted to keep things really simple, so I kept his bedding very simple and clean. Elizabeth of {IVIE BABY} did such an amazing job at making the perfect crib bedding set. Her craftsmanship is impeccable and she has SO many fun patterns and coordinates to choose from. You must check out her {ETSY SHOP} for more fabulous nursery bedding ideas!

These arrows from {FLETCHER AND FOX} where a must for this room! These are hand painted arrows, and they are easily the cutest thing I’ve ever seen. I am just amazed by her talent! I still need to finish off the wall with a fun frame and photo and I am still looking for the perfect accessories, but these arrows where the perfect place to start. Be sure to check out {FLETCHER AND FOX} on Etsy for lots of different arrow colors and designs. There are so many different things you can do with these fun arrows!

Last but not least is this ADORABLE sign that I had custom made from {CHIC RUSTIC SIGNS}. I love that is continues the wood grain theme from the nursery bedding, and of course it is one of my FAVORITE sayings! She made this sign exactly how I wanted it and I am just amazed by how perfect it turned out. I could have never pulled off this nursery without the talent of all these women!
