I love photography, but I also LOVE interior design too!!! Since moving into our new house 6 months ago I’ve been hard at work trying to get it just the way I want it. I have promised a few sneak peaks of what we did in our new house, so here’s my first little peak! This is my 10 year old daughter Brynlee’s room. The best part about her room is that I really didn’t have to buy too many new things to make it just the way we wanted it. When I decorate, I have a somewhat tight budget and I don’t have any designer show rooms coming in to help me, so it involves a LOT of TJ Maxx shopping and creativity! I think there is something to be said about making a room look classic and chic on a realistic, family friendly budget! I love everything from the crisp white walls, pops of gold and black, and the ornate eclectic styled rug. Everything started from the fun little vanity area I designed for the girls Jack and Jill bathroom. I wanted gold accents in their bathroom, which was VERY hard to find! After hours of internet shopping I found the PERFECT gold light and tile that follows the theme perfectly! Brynlee’s favorite part is her dance photos that we took just a couple of weeks ago. She was so excited to have a little personal touch that represents her!
